Philanthropy at Tech - Tales of Passion, Tales of Woe - Marta Garcia, Caroline Wood
From Katie Gentilello on March 9th, 2017
Georgia Tech is well known for the passionate loyalty and support of its alumni, which make it possible for the Institute to achieve what it never could by depending only on state support and tuition. But passion is not found only among our donors. The philanthropic support we count on in ever increasing amounts, is the product of a very professional and passionate group of administrators that are able to shrug off daily rejection, moving on to the next, and the next, and the next. Leaving no stone unturned, they feed the insatiable needs of the Institute in specialized teams focusing on individuals, corporations, and foundations – each in a targeted and specific manner. Learn about their processes, successes and failures. Maybe you’ll decide your challenges are really tolerable! - or maybe you’ll want to join their efforts as a faculty volunteer!
