IRIM’s new lecture series, the Kelly Distinguished Lecture on Robots and Jobs, features preeminent scholars in fields of significance to robotics. The visiting lecturers, in addition to presenting seminars on topics relevant to robots in the workplace, participate in informal discussions with Georgia Tech faculty and students.
The second Kelly Distinguished Lecturer, Attorney Garry G. Mathiason, will present “The Future Has Arrived: Integrating Transformative Technologies in the Workplace” on Friday, November 18. Mathiason is a senior class action litigator and strategist at Littler Mendelson in San Francisco where he co-chairs Littler's Robotics Practice Group, providing legal advice and representation to the legal industry, as well as employers deploying this technology in the workplace.
